The Baymedix family of biomaterials is growing with the introduction of Baymedix FR for functional medical wound dressings. Based on polyurethane foams with a specific combination of properties, the materials from Bayer MaterialScience can be combined with a thermoplastic polyurethane film, which Bayer markets under the Platilon name, for breathability.
